Clint Stone is a studio artist, working and teaching at various colleges in the Greater Houston Area. He received his MFA at Texas Tech University in 2010 and actively participates in national, international, solo, group, and juried exhibitions. His work has been published in various art books and magazines such as New American Paintings. The visible artistic process and immediacy in his work is inspired by the Southwest Region of the United States. From on-site plein air painting to work in and outside of his studio, his abstract landscapes are an amalgamation of experience and memory realized through oppositional and harmonic rhythms of additive and subtractive marks on the surface of his paintings.
