My name is Clint Stone. I am a studio artist and teacher. I received my Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Texas Tech University in 2010 and actively participate in national and international art exhibitions. The visible artistic process and immediacy in my work is inspired by the vast openness of rural areas and cities of the southwest region.  From working in my studio, to on-site plein air painting, I observe and absorbs the landscape, movement, light, space, and other transformations taking place around me. My paintings are an amalgamation of experience, memory, and observation, realized through the application of additive and subtractive marks on the surface of my paintings.
